God’s cup of blessing is not so that you can hoard it and keep it to yourself. He provides, and the overflow of his provision is designed to be poured out to others.
This is what “My Cup Runs Over” means, and certainly, this is how our #RemoteLearningSummit2022 speaker has fruitfully stood for the online world.
Meet Sophie Agbonkhese, a writer and a homeschooling mother of four from the southwest of British Columbia. She is the founder of My Cup Runs Over and the owner of https://sophieagbonkhese.com, sites dedicated to helping busy women like her to simplify and enrich their lives, strategize for homeschooling, raise creative children, and live a balanced and sustainable life.
Because of her interest in accounting and economics, she took up business administration in university. During her first month in, she met the love of her life, Ben, and eventually got married. When she graduated, she started a management consulting agency. Years forward, she went back to studying, this time about logistics and sustainability.
‘My Cup Runs Over’ as her escape
When Sophie felt overwhelmed with life, she took a step back from consulting. She then decided to homeschool their children. Through faith, her ever-supportive friends, and her love for writing, she launched My Cup Runs Over so she could impart her journey to people who may have been experiencing the same.
In her blogs, she wrote topics like 50 Gratitude Journal Prompts, highlighting the importance of practicing gratitude and incorporating it with journaling as a hobby, Easy Flower Sponge Painting Banner Craft for Kids, for when you need a colorful and exciting activities with your children, How To Stop Being a Perfectionist, for the people who are afraid to acknowledge their weakness as being human and many more.
My Cup Runs Over also has resources for Homeschooling life like Writing a Curriculum for Elementary and Home Life topics like 12 Simple Daily Cleaning Habits That Will Change Your Life Forever.
When she’s not writing, Sophie spends her time with kids by reading, gardening, listening to audiobooks, and cleaning their home. She believes that when your cup overflows, fill someone else’s cup.
Her blog has been a huge help to busy moms like her in changing their lives. To present, their Facebook page has almost 4,500 likers and followers.
